Flexible Working Hours

At Admiral, we are proud to be a diverse business where we put our people and customers first. We understand that a good work life balance is important, and we want you to have an element of freedom to define a working lifestyle that supports this.

The IT Department offers a flexible working pattern for all members of staff. Flexi will allow you to make late starts and early finishes.

In most teams, the core hours are 10am to 4pm and you can work around these hours without checking. The start times are between 8 and 10am and the finish times between 4 and 6pm. A maximum of 12 half days (or equivalent) flexi days can be taken in any one year.

This is in order to keep consistent and ensure a healthy work-life balance. Ask your Recruitment Officer for more information and see the role you’re interested in falls within our flexible working pattern.

Pluralsight

Fancy learning something new? Pluralsight is one of the world’s largest libraries of online courses for I.T. Professionals, Developers and Creative Designers. Pluralsight has over 7,000 video-based online courses complete with practice exercises and is available for you to use on your PC, laptop or personal mobile device! It’s just one of the educational benefits we offer within I.T.

I.T. Annual Awards

Our awards night is one of the highlights and certainly the most prestigious nights of the year! The Annual I.T. Awards Ceremony is an unforgettable evening with the likes of Admiral UK CEO Cristina Nestares as one of many guest hosts handing out 12 established awards. But, not before sitting down to a three-course meal and a drink to celebrate our success. Could you be our next winner?

Community Days

We do a lot for various charities in I.T. raising thousands of pounds each year. We also recognise that a donation of time is, in some cases, just as or even more important than a donation of money. That’s why we have created Community Days. We give you time out of your working year to spend giving something back to the local community or charity of your choice.

Away Days

We appreciate how hard everyone works, and to show our gratitude we organise a day for the entire department to do something a bit different. Previous activities have included Gorge Walking, Theme park trips, Spa days and a visit to the Golf Range.

Summer Party

We are proud of how hard we work in I.T. so it’s only fair we let our hair down every now and again! Each year we organise a summer party and everyone is invited! Everyone is catered for, rain or shine. It’s a great occasion to have fun, relax and meet new people.
