Motor accidents are hugely distressing and dealing with the insurance claims can be complex and often confusing for clients. Individuals with legal jobs aim to take the weight off clients’ shoulders and deal with claims in a timely manner, allowing them to get back to normal as soon as possible. Whether you have bags of potential and want to join our New Business team or you have specialist experience and knowledge in the sector and are looking for something new, the perfect role could be waiting for you in our Legal Services department.

Our New Client Unit (NCU) makes contact with our new customers to find out the details of their claim and inform them of legal processes. After comprehensive training, the role of a New Client Unit handler (legal handler) involves gathering as much information as possible about claims quickly and accurately; whilst being sensitive to the customers' needs in what can often be a stressful time for them. To join this team you'll need to be a natural with customer over the phone – so you’ll have excellent attention to detail and listening skills. You'll need a calm, professional phone manner, and the ability to be proactive.

Our Case Handlers are the all-important first-line of contact for customers. Managing their own caseload, our case handlers advise customers on the best course of action and manage and progress all cases using the in-house case management system. They make sure that customers are fully informed every step of the way. These positions come with the opportunities to deal with complex files, helping you to build on technical knowledge. We recruit for a number of case handlers roles in areas such as litigation, fast track, MOJ and uninsured loss.

Case Handler Kate Bell-Langford, joined us in 2014. “I applied for this job as it provides great career prospects, support to progress your technical abilities including support for your Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) studies and an opportunity to work in a legal environment, I would not have been able to do this at another solicitors.”

Fellow Case Handler Lauren Miller, relocated from Merseyside to South Wales and has been working with Admiral Law for 10 months.

Within both Law firms, our experienced solicitors supervise and provide technical guidance to the teams of case handlers. They're responsible for inspiring and developing the teams and offering support where needed. Through monthly quality audits, appraisals and reviews they ensure all work is completed in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
